A CNC-cut insert for a mini fridge. Simple, specific, useful.

Make the insert, not a whole cabinet
This commission called for a wine-rack insert for a mini fridge. I drew the profiles and cut them on the BobsCNC.
From drawing to plywood
The photos show the CAD drawing beside the profiles I cut from plywood. I made the insert specifically for the mini fridge instead of adapting a store-bought rack.
Drawing it to fit the fridge
I drew this wine-rack insert for a mini fridge and cut the profiles from plywood on the CNC. The job was specific enough that adapting a store-bought rack did not make much sense. The CAD drawing set the shape, and the cut pieces show how that geometry moved from the screen to sheet material. It is a straightforward project, but it shows the value of making the part fit the space instead of forcing the space to fit the part.
