Basement bathroom: from Fusion to a real room
A Fusion room model paired with the actual basement construction: exposed drains, supply lines, and the tiled shower that followed. The bathroom now exists in our house.

A room, not only a drawing
The bathroom shown in the Fusion drawing is now a tangible room in our house. The construction photographs add what the drawing could not show: the services under the floor, the supply lines inside the framing, and the surfaces that eventually enclose those systems.
This is the basement project documented in the 2023 progress folders, not the separate upstairs-bathroom renovation documented in 2026.
Two views of the same project
The Fusion sheet brings the arrangement into plan, isometric, and detail views. The fixtures, surfaces, and unusual geometry can be considered together rather than as disconnected measurements.
The construction photographs follow the same room into the physical space. Material and fixture details are not identical in every view, but they show the relationship between a spatial design record and a room being built.
What disappears beneath the finish
The March photographs show the exposed drain routing below the slab and supply lines passing through the open framing. Those stages explain why a room-scale project is more than its final tile selection. The systems have to occupy real space before they can be concealed.
By April, the records show boarded walls and tiled surfaces. The shower photograph captures the light wall tiles, recessed niche, and patterned floor near the end of the tiling stage.
A project with more than one record
The model, the service work, and the finished surfaces tell different parts of the story. Keeping them together makes the room more understandable than either a standalone drawing or a photograph of tile could.
The bathroom is now a physical room in our house. The selected photographs below show its construction stages, including the work that would later disappear behind walls and beneath the floor.

Michael confirms the room is built. April photographs are from the tiling-stage folder, not a claim that every finishing step was complete that day. Exact final completion date is not assigned. The construction photographs date to February-April 2023 and precede the October 4, 2023 issue date on the exported drawing. That issue date is not treated as the first design date. Construction responsibilities are not assigned to Michael beyond his confirmed modeling and owner documentation.
