A room-scale project has a hidden half

The basement archive follows more than the finished appearance. It records the layout becoming framing, services being routed through the floor and walls, and the surfaces that later hide that work. Putting these stages together gives the digital room studies a physical project context.

Space, services, and surfaces

The framing photographs make the arrangement of walls and openings visible. The plumbing photographs show work below the slab as well as supply lines in the wall structure. By April, boarded walls and tiled areas give the spaces a very different appearance.

These are connected stages of the same environment. A clear portfolio needs both the spatial intention and the physical constraints, rather than a floor plan in one category and disconnected building photos in another.

Follow the individual spaces

The bathroom has a dedicated page pairing its Fusion drawing with plumbing and tiling views. The angled bookshelf also belongs to the built-project record. Both remain individually discoverable, while this page keeps the broader basement development together.

The photos document what was visible at each stage. They are not a claim that one person performed every trade or that the date of a progress photo marks overall completion.

Credits & project notes

Project archive supplied by Michael Pytlowany. The photographs do not allocate individual construction tasks.

The exact final completion date and division of labor are not inferred from folder names. The separate 2026 upstairs-bathroom project is not combined with this record.
