Piece / projectLong stripes, rounded corners
The striped board from the March 2021 batch, distinct from the tighter block patterns beside it.

A coarse grid of contrasting blocks from the March 2021 hybrid-board collection.
This is the large-grid board in the foreground of the original group photograph. The gallery retains the uncropped view so it can be placed among the other pieces.
I designed and built this board from contrasting blocks arranged in a wider grid. It came from the March 2021 group, but the larger pattern separates it from the striped board and the tighter end-grain layouts. The project is documented mainly through the group photograph, so I keep the description focused on the pattern that can actually be seen. The layout still shows another direction I was testing within the same board-making period.
