Rectangular quarter-sawn oak coasters with a red resin river.
This set pairs quarter-sawn oak with a red resin river. The original post credits other people for the color choices, and I used an oil finish to bring out the grain.
I made this rectangular coaster set from quarter-sawn oak with a red resin river. It belongs to the same color study as the round blue and narrow light-blue sets, but the shape and pour give it a different look. Other people helped choose the colors, and I kept that credit in the notes. I handled the fabrication and used an oil finish to bring out the oak grain.
Coaster fabrication: Michael Pytlowany. Color choices were collaborative, as acknowledged in the original post.
The historical caption reports glow powder too faint to photograph; no visible glow is claimed here.
