Trying pigment in the finish

I used these coaster sets to try brick pigment on white oak and white pigment on walnut. The color came through the finishing process rather than another resin-river layout. I designed and fabricated the sets, then packaged them as groups. The September photo keeps the different combinations together, while the later figured-wood coasters remain a separate project with their own material and finish choices.
