From the bench to someone else's room

A finished object in use

I designed and built this trivet from quarter-sawn oak with contrasting wood in a circular pattern. The customer later sent back photos of it being used under a plant, which is the view I like most from this project. It confirms that the piece left the bench and became part of someone else’s room. The materials overlap with some of the cutting boards, but the size, circular layout, and job are different.
