A tiny object changes the problem
The April 2021 post describes this as my most detailed print at the time: a 1/32-scale RC-car spoiler, printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.
Changing the print orientation
I tried several orientations before settling on a halved version that printed without supports. The original photo shows the pieces from those trials.
Waiting for the fit check
I finished the print and sent it out, but the post ends before the user reported back. I do not have a later fit or performance update for this one.
Finding a printable setup
This 1/32-scale RC spoiler was one of the most detailed prints I had attempted at that point. I used PETG, a 0.2 mm nozzle, and 0.12 mm layers, then tried several orientations before settling on a version split in half so it could print without supports. The trial pieces are still visible in the photo. I finished the print and sent it out, but I do not have a later fit or performance update from the user.
