Rectangular quarter-sawn oak coasters with a narrow, light-blue resin feature.
This set pairs quarter-sawn oak with a narrow light-blue resin line. The original post credits other people for the color choices, and I used an oil finish to bring out the grain.
I made this coaster set from quarter-sawn oak with a narrow light-blue resin line. The rectangular shape and restrained pour make it different from the round blue and red sets in the same group. Other people helped choose the colors, which I credit in the project notes. I handled the fabrication and used an oil finish to bring out the oak grain after the resin and wood were worked flush.
Coaster fabrication: Michael Pytlowany. Color choices were collaborative, as acknowledged in the original post.
The historical caption reports glow powder too faint to photograph; no visible glow is claimed here.
