The pattern is the piece
The intersecting wood strips give this table its own identity within the martini-table collection. The original August 2020 post records it as a newly finished piece for inventory.
Building the lattice top
I designed and built this martini table around an intersecting wood pattern instead of the usual two-board river layout. The open areas in the lattice were filled with epoxy, turning the grid into the main feature of the top. I paired it with a tripod-style base and finished it as an individual table. The different construction gives it its own identity within the larger group of resin tables.
