Follow a new direction

After seeing examples of circuit sculpture, I built one. This was a first exploration of a form that puts the connections on display.

The connections become the structure

Illuminated elements, exposed wiring, electrical components and a wooden base form the object. Instead of disappearing inside an enclosure, the connections become part of its visual character.

A place for exploration

This project sits at the intersection of functional construction and aesthetic composition. It extends the portfolio into a new material language through a made object.

Letting the circuit stay visible

I built this as a physical composition using electrical parts, exposed connections, light, and a wooden base. I usually work toward an enclosure or a clean hidden connection, but this time the wiring and structure were part of the finished object. The project gave me room to work differently while still paying attention to how the pieces supported one another. It is an experiment, and I am presenting it that way.
