An edge that does not need straightening

How I approached it

I designed and built this table around the live edge instead of forcing the top into a regular shape. The wood and dark epoxy do most of the visual work, so the layout had to make sense before the base went on. The earlier photo shows the top by itself, and the later photo shows it standing on the metal base. Together they show the project moving from a finished surface to a usable table.
