Natural cottonwood edges frame a dark resin river with exceptional visual clarity and a reflective finished surface.
Furniture & tables • Early project
An early experiment with wood and blue resin, revisited in the archive two years later.
This is the table I identified as my first wood-and-epoxy table when I revisited it in January 2021. The blue resin surrounds irregular wood sections in a circular top.
In that later post, I could already see things I would make differently. It belongs here as part of the work, not just as a polished endpoint.
Design and making: Michael Pytlowany.
Approximate 2019 build date comes from a January 2021 retrospective caption saying it was made two years earlier.
